Our school

Morayfield State School is situated on Morayfield Road, in the Moreton Regional Shire, one of the fastest growing areas in the state. It was established in 1873, and was the first school in the Caboolture District. The original building is still on site.

Currently we have about 560 students enrolled from Prep to Year 6. The school caters for mainly urban students from a wide variety of backgrounds.

The teachers in our classrooms are supported by a variety of specialists including Teacher Librarian; A Performing arts teacher; Teacher of instrumental music; Physical education and Languages Other Than English (LOTE, Japanese); Literacy coach; Guidance Officer and Learning Support teachers.

A Special Education Program caters for verified children with special needs in the context of their general classroom routine. An enthusiastic and experienced team of teachers and aides support our classroom teachers in implementing an inclusive curriculum.

Teaching spaces have access to modern technology with interactive whiteboards, access to the internet and classroom computers. A computer lab and our new library complement these facilities.

The best access to our school administration building is from the car park on Caboolture River Road.
